Whether you're a fluent second-language speaker or a nervous native speaker, SPOKEN IMPACT can help you become confident, sharper and more effective.
SPOKEN IMPACT is a half-day training session held in a venue in Bloomsbury's famous University of London on Saturday mornings during 2008. Run by university-employed communication and linguistics experts and trainers, including Tony Corballis, it's designed to help you cope in London's fierce multicultural business world, where people will certainly judge you the moment you open your mouth!
The session helps you understand power-play, status and cross-culture, in day-to-day communication. You will learn about the power of your voice and how you can exploit it to give you more impact. And you will build your confidence in speaking to audiences.
And you will also learn habits for the workplace and at home: how to develop the accent you desire, and increase your vocabulary, your actively-recalled word-base.
