The Drama Coach
Costa Loucopoulos is an executive and leadership coach that works at the most fundamental level to human behaviour: drama coaching.
The
Drama Coach (applied drama specialist) is based in Sydney, Australia, and teaches
at the University of New South Wales, the University of Sydney, Teacher Training
Australia, New South Wales Department of Education and Training and the Board
of Studies. He has been an applied drama practitioner for over 20 years, starting
in 1992 for NSW Department of School Education. He is available for coaching in
his office premises in Sydney or via Skype anywhere in the world.
Drama Practice
Applied drama is a strand of drama practice that focuses on people, their socialisation and participation in society.
Much of Edward de Bono's
work is now considered applied drama and the use of De Bono's lateral thinking
is used extensively in applied drama. The specialism of Costa Loucopoulos and
his research in the field is the use of applied drama to create democratic and
meaningful partnerships. His work is richly informed by Augusto
Boal's Forum Theatre practice.
Mangement Development
Costa Loucopoulos, The Drama Coach, specialises in finding solutions to professional interpersonal relationships to invigorate management and liberate both the manger and the managed. The upshot: more imaginative, self-actualising and productive ways of working. It brings back democracy. It feeds on creativity. It brings back humanity to professional settings, to get the most out of people and to improve bottom-line results. Contact Tony Corballis, The Language Coach for Leaders, for a referral.
